Christopher Meloni is sharing his thoughts on the potential of New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson eyeing a role on Law & Order: SVU.
If you don’t know, after winning the NBA Championship last week, the 29-year-old point guard was asked what was next for him, and he replied, “Try to get on SVU.”
During a recent outing in NYC, Christopher, who plays detective Elliot Stabler, was asked about Jalen‘s comment.
“Absolutely. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but he’s a world champion. He can do whatever the hell he wants,” the actor told TMZ. “He’s got the force of will.”
Earlier this year, Law & Order: SVU was renewed for season 28, so there’s time to write in a character for Jalen next season!
Another easy way for Jalen to get his wish is through Mariska Hargitay, who not only stars in the long-running series, but she’s also an executive producer.

Mariska is also a big Knicks fan, sprinting from her Broadway play, Every Brilliant Thing, to Madison Square Garden to sit courtside at game four of the finals. She also joined several more celebs at the Knicks victory parade this week.
