Alix Earle is opening up about her dating life and why dating men her own age just isn’t for her.
The 25-year-old influencer spoke with Quenlin Blackwell during the Thursday (May 21) episode of her Get Real with Me YouTube show, where the two chatted about relationships, maturity, and dating older men.
Quenlin, also 25, shared a story about an ex and said, “As you age, you realize people aren’t supposed to act like that,” which made Alix to ask if the person was older.
“I don’t date guys my age,” the I Love LA actress admitted.
Alix then revealed that she recently tried dating someone closer to her age, but it didn’t go well.
“I went on a date with a guy who was a year older than me. I can’t do it again. That’s never happening,” Alix said.
“It didn’t feel like I was with like a man. I want someone to take care of me,” she added.
Still, Alix joked that dating older men can come with its own challenges too.
But Alix also said she’s sometimes “gone too far the other end, and I’m like ‘Grandpa!’””
Since splitting from Braxton Berrios, 30, Alix has been candid with fans about getting back into dating and sharing updates on TikTok.
The influencer has also been making headlines lately for another major milestone. Last week, Alix was announced as one of the cover models for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2026 Swimsuit Issue.
While promoting the exciting career moment, Alix was also asked about her reported feud with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper. Fans recently got another update on where things stand between the two podcast stars.
