The wife of the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs is speaking out about a narrative surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding day.
On Instagram, podcast host Zack Peter was talking about the nuptials and said, “Apparently some of the wedding guests were not happy. The Daily Mail writes, ‘The event was meant to be a magical celebration, Taylor Swift’s love story … but guests have been complaining post-event about how tacky and chaotic scenes inside were, which saw the champagne running dry really early and long queues for buffet food.’”
Tavia Hunt, who is married to the Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, saw the video and wrote a few statements in response.
“This is such a false narrative. They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony,” she posted in a comment on Instagram.
She continued, “The vows were spectacular — beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect. It could not have been a more fabulous experience.”
She added, “And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. That is hearsay — not truth.”
If you don’t know, Travis has played his entire NFL career with the Chiefs. The Hunt family seems to have gotten to know Taylor – they got her a birthday gift!
