Apple TV has set the release date for Slow Horses season 6!
The hit television series will return with new episodes on September 16, 2026. The six-episode season will drop one episode per week on Wednesdays through October 21, 2026.
Season 6 is based on Mick Herron‘s CWA Gold Dagger Award-winning novels Joe Country and Slough House, and follows MI5 boss Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) as she embroils the Slow Horses in “a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.”
The darkly humorous espionage drama follows British intelligence agents who get dumped into the Slough House, a “dumping ground department of MI5 led by Sir Gary Oldman‘s grump but brilliant Jackson Lamb.
Apple TV shared the first look at the upcoming season. Along with Kristin Scott Thomas and Academy Award winner Sir Gary Oldman, the series also stars Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlen, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Bryce, and Hugo Weaving.
BAFTA TV Award winner Lenny Rush is also joining the cast for the new season.
Slow Horses returns on September 16, exclusively on Apple TV.
