Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn have teamed for another project together!
The Off Campus stars, whose characters had a secret situationship in season one, are narrating a new Quinn erotic audio drama called Rent Free.
According to Variety, the new audio drama “follows two people who are complete opposites: ‘feisty, charismatic, no-nonsense painter’ Nora living in New York City, and ‘cocky, infuriatingly charming former jock turned investment banker’ Jack, who ‘navigate post-college growing pains in close proximity.’”
Here’s the full synopsis: “Within the span of 24 hours, Nora’s life implodes. She gets cheated on, loses her apartment, and suddenly has nowhere to go. With no other options, she moves in with Jack — her best friend’s older brother. Jack’s life is built on routine: work, the gym, casual hookups, repeat. But Nora’s arrival throws everything off balance. What starts as a temporary arrangement quickly turns into something far more complicated, and things get messy — fast. ‘Rent Free’ immerses audiences in an intoxicating romance about one apartment, zero boundaries, and two complete opposites.”
“I had heard about Quinn before when I saw Chris Briney on it, and I did some digging. I found out Quinn was a graphic, but beautiful storytelling app,” Stephen shared with a laugh, adding, “and I thought — I want to be a part of this. This sounds great.”
“Fans really resonate with Dean and Allie. They’re a spicy couple, and this is a little tease for what’s to come,” Mika added of their Off Campus characters. “Both sets of characters have very specific fronts that they use to deny their attraction to one another. They both dip into vulnerability and then back out because they’re afraid. And I think that’s really fun to show to the world.”
“In modern romance, we’re too nonchalant,” she continued. “People are not expressing their feelings and desires enough, so it’s really fun to see these stories about desire. We have to start yearning again.”
“Bring back yearning! 2026 — don’t stop yearning!” Stephen replied.
This marks only the second ever duo story from Quinn, following Heated Rivalry‘s Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who starred in Ember & Ice, which debuted in December. Other celebs who have lent their voices to Quinn audios include Tyriq Withers, Costa D’Angelo, Shawn Hatosy, Sam Heughan, Love Island‘s Rob Rausch, Jamie Campbell Bower and more!
