Nicholas Galtizine is opening up about his decision to stop drinking.
The 31-year-old Masters of the Universe actor appeared on the latest episode of Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast, which was released on Friday (June 5).
During their chat, Nicholas revealed that he’s been sober for several years now.
“I don’t drink anymore,” Nicholas shared, to which Jake asked if he was sober.
“Yeah, since COVID,” Nicholas answered.
“Oh wow, good for you,” Jake responded.
“It’s not like…that,” Nicholas said, to which Jake interjected, “Congratulations,” as the actor laughed.
“It’s not like that,” the The Red, White, and Royal Blue star reiterated.
“Oh — you just were like ‘I’m over it’?” Jake asked.
“Yeah, I was drinking a lot in COVID,” Nicholas explained, adding, “I’m kind of better for it.”
In an interview with Men’s Health, Nicholas opened up about prioritizing his health amid the rigorous training he went through to bulk up to play He-Man in Masters of the Universe.
