Morgan Wallen had an unexpected outburst on stage during a concert in Denver after technical difficulties appeared to derail part of his performance.
The 33-year-old country superstar was performing the first of two shows at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, on Friday night (May 29) when he encountered issues while singing of his biggest hits, “Sand in My Boots.”
According to video footage shared by Country Central on Instagram, Morgan appeared unable to hear the piano accompaniment during the performance. Despite the apparent audio problem, the singer continued the song and finished it a cappella.
After completing the song, Morgan walked back toward the piano and appeared visibly frustrated before flipping the instrument over onstage, leaving audience members stunned as the piano crashed to the ground.
The moment quickly spread across social media, with concertgoers sharing clips and reactions across multiple platforms.
The incident marks another headline-making moment for Morgan who was previously arrested in 2024 after throwing a chair from the rooftop of a Nashville bar. He later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges related to the incident.
Morgan is currently traveling across the country on his Still the Problem Tour, which launched last month in Minneapolis and continues throughout the summer.
