Mike Colter and Finn Jones have been spotted filming new scenes for Daredevil: Born Again, fueling excitement over a larger reunion of Marvel’s street-level heroes.
Mike has officially reprised his role as Luke Cage in the Disney+ series and is expected to have a significantly expanded presence in the show’s upcoming third season. Finn is also set to return as Danny Rand, better known as Iron Fist, in season 3.
The actors are joining Charlie Cox, who stars as Matt Murdoch/Daredevil, and Krysten Ritter, who reprises her role as Jessica Jones. Their involvement brings fans one step closer to a full-fledged reunion of The Defenders, the team previously seen non Marvel’s interconnected Netflix series.
Mike and Finn were photographed filming scenes in Manhattan on Monday (June 1) in New York City. They appeared to be accompanied by a younger actress who is believed to be portraying Danielle Cage, the daughter of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.
The latest set photos follow earlier images that surfaced in April showing Mike, Finn, and Krysten filming scenes together in Brooklyn.
Wilson Bethel was also recently spotted filming new scenes as Bullseye for season 3!
The third season of Daredevil: Born Again is currently expected to premiere sometime in March 2027.
