Mikayla Nogueira is opening up for the first time since announcing her divorce has been finalized.
The 28-year-old beauty influencer and POV Beauty owner spoke out in a new TikTok video on Wednesday (July 29) after she made headlines for excitedly running out of the courthouse in a “Just Divorced” shirt upon finalizing her divorce from ex Cody Hawken after two years of marriage.
“I am officially a divorced woman. I cannot explain how f–king freeing it feels. New start, new beginning,” she began, before revealing she’s getting rid of her nails and planning a new haircut.
“We’re cutting it off, bitch. I’m not gonna do a bob, don’t worry, but I’m thinking like… something just a little shorter, more manageable.”
She then asked her followers what she should do with her wedding dresses.
“Now that I’m divorced, I have two beautiful, perfect condition wedding dresses that I don’t wanna keep. What should I do with them? Should I donate them? Sell them? Like, what would you guys do in that situation? If one of you wants them, I want to know.”
Mikayla then addressed advice she’s received about marrying again, as well as speculation that she’ll soon tie the knot with her on-again high school boyfriend, Zach.
“Also, the people telling me don’t ever get married again… that’s not fair. Like, I got married ’cause I wanted to be married, and I definitely would love to get married again one day. But the people saying it’ll be in the next six months, I can tell you that is absolutely not going to happen.”
“Also, fun fact—I don’t know if this is just in the state of Massachusetts—but even though I did officially get divorced yesterday, you cannot get remarried for 90 days post the trial, obviously. My current partner Zach and I are in a relationship, but we’re just having fun, you know? Like, it’s not that deep,” she insisted.
Mikayla also hit back at allegations that she moves on quickly.
“No, I don’t, and you’ve only seen me with two people in the six years I’ve been creating content. Two people. Also, the one I’m currently with was my boyfriend 10 years ago. Not loosey goosey throwing myself around. Please be so for real.”
She also spoke about astrology seemingly lining up with her divorce day.
“Wait, so I don’t know if this is true, but I read somewhere that yesterday was one of the luckiest days cause of Jupiter or some s–t. I had the luckiest day of my life yesterday, so…I’ve always believed in s–t like that, but yesterday made me really believe it.”
