Michael Johnston is opening up about the idea of a sequel to Obsession.
The 30-year-old actor, who plays Bear in the hit indie horror film, recently addressed fan demand for a follow-up to the record-breaking film.
Michael made an appearance on I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario, where she spoke about the possibility of a sequel, and whether Bear could be brought back for another movie.
“I would love that,” Michael began.
“I will say, there’s no plan for that. And also, I don’t know how many people would want Bear back. I think the general consensus is that he kind of got what he deserved.”
He also joked that his own sequel would be about Bear’s parents returning to town and walking in and wondering what happened before accidentally stumbling on the One Wish Willow themselves.
“Curry [Barker]‘s idea of having it be an anthology series is really really cool…I’d love to see a wish gone right. How fun would that be?” he added, referring to the director playing around with the concept of different One Wish Willow stories. Watch above
