Going to the movies to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 this weekend? Get there early for a surprise from the Queen of Pop and the Vogue icon herself who inspired the movie.
Filmgoers who sat down in theaters early to see the highly anticipated Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt-helmed sequel to the 2006 hit were shocked to encounter a 30-second clip ahead of the movie’s trailers, featuring footage of Madonna and Anna Wintour seated together at Dolce & Gabbana Women’s Fall/Winter 2026 Fashion Show in Milan back in February.
Madonna and Anna Wintour appear in surprise theater clip
Madonna‘s classic “Vogue” is playing as the two watch models walk down the runway.
“I can’t believe they’re still playing ‘Vogue.’ Why?” Anna remarks in a voiceover.
“Because they miss me,” Madonna replies, to which Anna responds: “I like ‘Vogue,’ but surely you have something new…”
“As a matter of fact, I do. I have a confession,” Madonna says before leaning over and whispering into Anna’s ear, as her new song “Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter begins to play, as well as a flash of lyrics and the cover of Madonna‘s forthcoming studio album Confessions II, out on July 3, which also includes “I Feel So Free.”
When to arrive to catch the clip
One viewer who caught the clip noted that it played during the AMC pre-show trailers, as opposed to the actual movie trailers. So get there about 15 minutes before your showtime if you want to catch it too!
“Bring Your Love” is already off to a huge start after its Thursday (April 30) premiere: the song went No. 1 in 48 countries on iTunes, and debuted at No. 34 on the global Spotify chart in its first weekend.
Listen to the song and read the lyrics! And see all 42 celebrity cameos in The Devil Wears Prada 2 revealed.
