It’s the end of an era because Heartstopper is coming to a conclusion this week.
Kit Connor and Joe Locke hit the red carpet together for the premiere of their Netflix show’s series finale movie, Heartstopper Forever, on Tuesday night (July 14) at Cineworld Leicester Square in London, England.
Instead of giving the show a fourth and final season, Netflix instead greenlit a feature film to wrap up the story of Nick (Connor) and Charlie (Locke).

Also in attendance at the premiere were co-stars Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Tobie Donovan, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser, Fisayo Akinade, Nima Taleghani, Leila Khan, Bradley Riches, Darragh Hand, and Bel Priestley, plus series creator Alice Oseman.
Check out the synopsis below.
Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet. Meanwhile, their friends are also navigating the ups and downs of love and friendship, confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on. Can first loves really last forever?

Heartstopper Forever will arrive on Netflix on July 17. You can watch all three seasons of the show right now on the streaming service.
Olivia Colman will not be returning to play Nick’s mom Sarah Nelson. She will be replaced by British actress Anna Maxwell Martin.
