Kirsten Storms’ Ex-Husband Brandon Barash Gets Restraining Order Against Her, Claims She’s Battling a ‘Mental Health Crisis’ | Brandon Barash, Kirsten Storms | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos

Former soap opera couple Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash are back in the headlines amid a difficult time.

Brandon has obtained an emergency restraining order against Kirsten, according to TMZ.

The former couple met on the set of General Hospital and got married in 2013, welcomed their daughter into the world one year later, and then got a divorce in 2016.

Brandon got remarried in 2025 and moved to Nashville, with Kirsten also making the move to the city to help their daughter adjust to a new life. She took time off from General Hospital amid the move and also some health issues.

In new court documents, Brandon alleged that Kirsten is suffering from a mental health crisis and he fears for the well-being of their child.

Brandon said that “instability with housing has been a recurring theme” for Kirsten, noting that she was sued for eviction by her landlord and didn’t have a permanent residence from September 2024 to June 2025. He claimed that she frequently changed hotel rooms as she became convinced that people were “following her and the child to her room.”

In the documents, Brandon also claimed that he loaned $5,000 to Kirsten for her car, which she hasn’t repaid.

Brandon claimed that in May 2025, Kirsten reached out to him and said she was “experiencing delusions and hallucinations” and “didn’t think she should have the child for her parenting time.” She was hospitalized and put on a psychiatric hold, but allegedly acted as if nothing had happened once she was released.

Amid other instances, Brandon wants Kirsten to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Kirsten is allowed “supervised visitation with their daughter” for now, but the restraining order will be reviewed by a judge this week.

Kirsten recently returned to GH after a six-month break.
