Jennifer Lopez is embracing the single life while returning to her romantic comedy roots, but fans are wondering if there’s something more behind her chemistry with co-star Brett Goldstein.
According to a source with People this week, the 56-year-old entertainer “had a great time filming” the upcoming Netflix rom-com Office Romance and is “excited for people to see the movie.”
Jennifer and Brett have recently been spotted together at several appearances and promotional events as they gear up for the film’s release.
She previously told People that she and Brett “had great chemistry to begin with” and even named him her “No. 1” rom-com co-star.
“Her flirty energy with Brett is genuine. She really likes him,” the source said.
However, the insider emphasized that Jennifer is happy with where she is in life and isn’t focused on finding a relationship.
The source added that Jennifer is “in a great place on her own right now though and doesn’t need a relationship to feel happy.”
The Grammy-nominated star is reportedly “enjoying her life as it is. She’s busy with work, family and the people closest to her.”
