Jennifer Lopez & Paulina Chavez Honored at Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival – Just Jared – Celebrity News and Gossip

Jennifer Lopez and Paulina Chavez pose on the red carpet together at the 2026 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (May 27) in Hollywood.

The 56-year-old entertainer and the 24-year-old actress were both honored at the opening night of the annual film festival.

JLo donned a green ensemble for the event, wearing the Bronx Banco Brielle Sage Diamond Gown, and carried a Tyler Ellis clutch.

She received the inaugural Adelante Award for Industry at the festival, which “recognizes visionary leaders whose work has created lasting impact and expanded opportunities across the entertainment industry.”

“The fact that it is named the “Adelante” makes this recognition especially meaningful to me, because moving forward has always been at the heart of everything I do, and our community does. We push boundaries, create opportunities, and ensure the next generation has an even clearer path.” – Jennifer Lopez while accepting the award

She was presented with the honor by her Selena: The Movie and Office Romance co-star Edward James Olmos, who is the founder and chairman of the Board of the Latino Film Institute. Their Selena director Gergory Nava was also in attendance.

For the event, Paulina sparkled in a Raisa Vanessa dress, and received the Next Gen Award, which was also presented by Edward.

The award recognized the Landman star for being an “emerging talent helping shape the future of the industry.”

Also in attendance at the film festival’s opening night included JLo‘s Kiss of the Spider Woman co-star Tonatiuh, as well as Danny Pino, Xolo MaridueñaAlyssa DiazJesse GarciaMarissa ReyesZulay Henao, Belissa Escobedo, Julio Macias and more.
