Hudson Wiliams and Sophie Nelisse reunite on the red carpet at the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards held at CBC Broadcast Centre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The Heated Rivalry co-stars were in attendance as nominees and recipients, while the show was also up for an additional award, after sweeping the Scripted Television Awards ceremony the night before.
Also stepping out were their co-stars Robbie GK, Nadine Bhabha and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, as well as creator, writer and director Jacob Tierney, producer Brendan Brady and “Heated Rivalry” author Rachel Reid with husband Matt. Hudson‘s parents and girlfriend Katelyn Larson also joined him!
Harrison Browne, who played Connors, one of Ilya Rozanov’s teammates in season one, was also in attendance, though not pictured here.
Meanwhile, in Los Angeles that same night, Francois Arnaud stepped out for the 2026 Peabody Awards ceremony, where he hit the stage to accept Heated Rivalry‘s honor, alongside Bell Media executive Rachel Goldstein-Couto.
At the Canadian Screen Awards, Heated Rivalry won Best Drama Series and the fan-voted Cogeco Fund Audience Choice award, while Hudson picked up the Best Lead Performer, Drama Series award, marking his first major award win!
During his acceptance speech, Hudson thanked the Heated Rivalry crew, Crave, his parents and girlfriend, as well as co-star Connor Storrie, who was not in attendance, as he’s currently in Atlanta filming his upcoming movie Turpentine.
Hudson thanked his parents for being supportive, thanked his partner for keeping him stable, and his last shoutout was for Connor, where he mentioned his “yearning bottom eyes” comments from social media.
“If I could cut this award down the middle I would because if these gay, yearning, little bottom eyes didn’t have a big sexy Russian to feast upon, my performance wouldn’t be as good. To the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you,” the actor said.
Heated Rivalry‘s cast and crew had a clean sweep at the Canadian Screen Awards this year, winning every single award they were nominated for!
Sophie Nelisse also received a special award during the ceremony, the Radius Award, which was presented to her by Hudson.
