The first photos from Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody have been released and they are HOT!
The beloved TV show has been adapted for the stage in a new parody musical, written by Dylan MarcAurele and directed by Alan Kliffer.
Inspired by the hit show about hockey, Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody follows “starry-eyed golden boy Shane Hollander on his journey from power center to power bottom. Relive all of the moments from the show that made you wet (with tears) up close on the small-stage by an incredible cast of Broadway actors who thought they were auditioning to be in Season 2.”
Ilya will be played by Jay Armstrong Johnson, who is best known for his work in the Broadway musicals Parade, Hair, The Phantom of the Opera, On the Town, Hands on a Hardbody, and Catch Me If You Can. He most recently played Christian in the North American touring company of Moulin Rouge.
Shane will be played by Jimin Moon, who is best known for appearing in Broadway musicals like Sunset Blvd and Lempicka. They most recently starred in the play Foursome in Los Angeles.
The cast will also include Ryann Redmond, Cherry Torres, and Ryan Duncan.
