The season two cast of Dexter: Resurrection is growing!
It was just announced that Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson have joined the upcoming second season as series regulars, according to Variety.

Bokeem, best known for roles in Fargo and Saving Grace, is set to portray Captain Mixon, who is “a bulldog of a homicide captain and Fiona’s father.”
Nona, who starred in Law & Order: Organized Crime, has been cast to portray Fiona Mixon, who is “a training officer in the Homicide unit and a nepo-baby in the police world and Harrison’s (Jack Alcott) new love interest.”
Bokeem and Nona are the latest new additions to the season two cast, with Dan Stevens and Brian Cox also joining as new series regulars!
In the show, a continuation of Dexter: New Blood, weeks after taking a bullet to the chest from his own son, Dexter Morgan (Michael C Hall) awakens from a coma to find Harrison gone. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. But when Miami Metro’s Angel Batista arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their own darkness, they soon find themselves deeper than ever imagined.
