Bravo made a big confirmation about their new Summer House spinoff TV show In the City.
Cameras were rolling amid all the drama and fallout regarding Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s romance. Specifically, a “new scene” was shot to address what went down.
“In the City, which launches in a couple weeks, you’ll see in the first episode we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members. So, we did pick up [cameras] there but we just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do on Summer House,” Bravo chairman Frances Berwick told The Ankler.
They added, “It does come back to the emotional well-being of the cast members, and we didn’t think that was right. We did take a beat before we covered that. And that was obviously in the reunion last week; as everyone now knows, we taped the reunion last week.”
If you don’t recall, Last month, West, 31, and Amanda, 34, shocked fans and their Summer House co-stars when they officially confirmed that they were dating. The news came as a big blow to their co-star and Amanda‘s close friend Ciara Miller, who previously dated West a few summers ago.
In the City already filmed in the fall, and will premiere on May 19.
