Benson Boone is playfully recreating an Alix Earle TikTok.
The 23-year-old “Beautiful Things” superstar shared a hilarious clip wearing a dress, similar to the one the 25-year-old influencer wore in a TIkTok posted on Saturday (June 6).
“Release it now plz,” she captioned the post, referring to Benson‘s still-unreleased new song, “The Time of My Life,” due out on June 26.
In the clip, Alix dramatically lip-syncs along to the song and runs around on a yacht. (She was also photographed on a yacht in Monaco over the weekend with Stassie and Jake Shane.)
“I can’t lay down my head / Without wishing you came along / I am having the time of my life / And I wish that you were still right here / I wish you came along,” he sings on the new song.
In response, Benson decided to put his own spin on the viral clip.
“i’m new here is this normal?” one popular comment reads on his post.
“Why the dress eating though” added another.
“Benson are u ok” another person wrote.
