Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez have sparked reconciliation rumors in the past few weeks.
If you don’t know, the 33-year-old superstar and the 34-year-old dancer previously dated between 2015 and 2016. She recently changed a lyric to add his name, sparking all kinds of speculation.
They have been photographed a few times together recently. The “hate that i made you love me” singer was spotted buying groceries at Whole Foods on Saturday (July 4) with Ricky.
Last month, TMZ’s insider claimed that “there is nothing romantic between Ariana and Ricky this time around” after they were again seen together.

Now, a source is revealing what is going on with Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez
A source told People they are “taking things very slowly” right now.
“Ariana has always considered Ricky a friend,” the source added. “She’s not held ill will against him [since their split]. Ricky is dependable, trustworthy and very supportive. Ariana feels she can be herself around Ricky.”
The source added “they have a similar, smart, dry sense of humor.”
“They’re not jumping into anything serious right away, but Ari is happy to have him back in her life,” they added.
If you didn’t know, Ariana is newly single after recently breaking up with Ethan Slater after years of dating. They met while working together on the Wicked movies, in which she played Glinda and he played Boq.
