The first two categories for the 2026 Emmy Awards nominations have been announced!
The full list of Emmy nominees will be released in just a few hours, but the Television Academy announced 2 categories early on the Today show on Wednesday morning (July 8).
Liza Colón-Zayas and Jeff Hiller will be announcing all of the nominees for the 78th Emmy awards at 8:30 a.m. PT / 11:30 a.m. ET today. We’ll have the full list at that time.
In the meantime, the two categories that were already announced were “Outstanding Reality Competition Program” and “Outstanding Variety Series.”
