Despite all that has happened publicly between Jimmy Kimmel and Donald Trump, he is revealing that he does not actually hate the President of the United States.
If you don’t know, Jimmy often pokes fun at Trump during his late night monologues on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Back in September, Trump celebrated Jimmy Kimmel Live being suspended in the post-Charlie Kirk killing aftermath, and later threatened to sue ABC when they returned the show to air. In April, he called for Kimmel to be fired again for a different joke.
While discussing the differing political views between him and his friend Adam Carolla, Jimmy told Vulture, “I love Adam, and he loves me, and I’ve just decided that if I could change his mind, I would try to do that, but I don’t think I can. I don’t think fighting with them helps.”
The journalist then said “he does see the purpose in fighting with Trump.”
Jimmy responded, revealing how he really feels about the POTUS: “Well, that’s Trump. That’s different. I don’t love him. I don’t hate him, either. I feel sorry for him. He obviously didn’t get hugged a lot.”

In a separate part of the interview, he spoke about CBS canceling The Late Show, which they said was for financial reasons.
Jimmy said that ABC told him “quite specifically” that his show was still making money.
