A new report has emerged about why Tom Hardy was apparently fired from his Paramount+ television series MobLand.
What allegedly happened with Tom Hardy on the set of MobLand?
A source told THR: “He refused to come out of his trailer for hours at a time.”
The source also said, “He kept the cast waiting, [which is] a power play. Keeping Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and others waiting is career suicide, I would wager.”
He was also “clashing with producers.”
Is MobLand even renewed for a third season?
As of right now, MobLand is not renewed, and season two hasn’t been released. Sources told the publication that if it is renewed, filming would take place in September.
What is MobLand about?
MobLand centers around two mob families who clash in a war that threatens to topple empires and lives.
The cast also includes Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bel, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.
When does season 2 premiere?
As of right now, Paramount+ has not announced a release date for the second season of MobLand, which has already completed production.
The series debuted in March 2025 and the first season was a huge hit with both fans and critics.
Back in November, Tom was seen walking around set of season two in his underwear.
