90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Armando Niedermeier-Rubio is sharing an update on his daughter Hannah after she suffered from a serious health scare.
The 37-year-old reality star shared an emotional Instagram video on Thursday (July 16) to share that he and husband Kenneth Niedermeier, 64, still do not know what’s happening with Hannah, 13, as she remains in the ICU in Arizona.
Why was Hannah taken to the hospital?
Earlier in the week, Armando shared details about his daughter’s medical emergency, revealing Hannah had called him while he was at his shop and said she wasn’t feeling well.
Half of her face had become “droopy” and she lacked strength. The doctors said her levels were normal and she didn’t have high blood pressure, but she remained there to undergo further testing. They shared she was taken to the ICU to be treated for a brain bleed.
Armando said the doctors still don’t entirely know what is happening with Hannah
In his newest video, Armando said Kenneth is currently with her and sadly the “MRI gave no answers.”
“The next step, I think they said they were gonna do an angioplasty, to see if they [can] get answers through there. Most likely they will, they think, but that means they have to put her out,” he said, becoming emotional as he went into detail about the procedure.
Armando continued, “They have to put her out, and I guess they go through her neck, and that could be, she could be under that for one day, hours, and in hopes of getting answers to see what the problem is.”
He then started to cry as he expressed his fear about the angioplasty, saying he misses his “baby girl” and doesn’t “want to lose her.”
Hannah did well in her latest procedure
Kenneth shared a photo of Hannah in her hospital bed after her latest procedure on his Instagram Story, which Armando reshared.
“She came out of the latest procedure very well. More updates soon. Thank you all again for all the care and kindness. We are grateful,” Kenneth wrote.
Why can’t Armando be at the hospital with his daughter?
Sadly, Armando is not able to be in Arizona with his husband and daughter. He is currently in Mexico due to immigration issues and shared in a previous video this week that he tried to go to the border for a humanitarian visa and was told they do not exist anymore.
“So, you can’t get any of that type of visa at the ports of entry, so that plan failed,” he explained.
The update came after he shared a post on Instagram asking for assistance in obtaining a medical emergency travel visa.
In case you didn’t see, earlier this year, 90 Day Fiancé star Nikki Exotika had to undergo triple bypass heart surgery. Prior to that, another The Other Way fan favorite shared a serious health diagnosis.
