You may be seeing Jude Law‘s name pop up in the context of the Jorginho Frello statement that was released over the weekend regarding Chappell Roan.
If you did not see the news, the 34-year-old Brazilian soccer star accused the 28-year-old “Pink Pony Club” singer of being behind an alleged encounter that left his 11-year-old daughter upset.

“I went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today. My wife [Cat Cavelli aka Catherine Harding] is in São Paulo for Lollapalooza Brasil. This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited. She even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire,” he wrote in a statement.
He said that his daughter thought she spotted Chappell at breakfast at their shared hotel, and went by her table to see if it was really her.
He then shared, “What happened next was completely disproportionate. A large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow my daughter to ‘disrespect’ or ‘harass’ other people. Honestly, I don’t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment.”
The next day, Chappell addressed what happened, saying, “I didn’t even see a woman and a child. Like I did not. No one came up to me, no one bothered me like, I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel…I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child. They did not come up to me!”
So, where does Jude Law fit in here and why might you be seeing his name in connection with this story? Well, the 11-year-old child in question is apparently Ada Law, who is Jude‘s biological daughter. In 2015, Jude and Catherine welcomed the baby girl.
Jorginho did not specifically name Ada in his statement, however, it’s assumed that Ada Law, Jude Law‘s daughter, is who is being referenced here.
