“[My podcast] ended, then my car [being stolen], and I was just like, ‘Okay, what’s keeping me here right now?’” she shared on Disrespectfully with Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan. “Nothing, so I was just like, ‘Okay, I’m just going to travel and have fun.’ And I was already in Charleston visiting family and friends, and I was there for a week and I had a lot of fun, so I just decided to get a cute Airbnb and go there for a month and just try it out, and I loved it. I had a lot of fun.”

When asked if she was moving to Charleston, Ally said she has family and friends there, and though she loves LA, she needs a change and is considering a move.

She also addressed filming for Southern Hospitality.

Leva [Bonaparte] has restaurants and bars, and so when I was there, I would sing and play out at her little restaurants, which was really fun,” she said, which Katie then questioned, “So what you’re saying is you’re moving to Charleston and joining Southern Hospitality.”

“No, I didn’t say that. I have no idea about that. I mean, I know, but I really don’t know,” Ally said. “I filmed a little, like this much.”

As for how it was filming for SoHo vs VPR, Ally said it’s “so different” as there was less shouting.

“I was like, ‘Oh, you guys are really friendly and everyone was friends with each other and I was like, ‘Oh, this is kind of [nice],’” she added. “I only filmed like one group scene, so I really wasn’t much involved with it.”

In the time since Vanderpump Rules season 11 ended, Ally broke up with her boyfriend James Kennedy earlier this year, and has since spoken out about why she’s glad she’s no longer in that relationship.
