Donald Trump is proposing an “Arc de Trump,” and it may come at a huge cost.

He first spoke to the idea of building a huge monument to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States while talking to donors back in October, showing off mockups of the proposed structure featuring marble statues of eagles and a golden Lady Liberty.

It earned its nickname because of its resemblance to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France, per People.

“Every time somebody rides over that beautiful bridge to the Lincoln Memorial, they literally say something is supposed be here,” he said, via BBC.

The construction project would happen in Washington, D.C., and according to a new report, he’s aiming to fund the project through fundraising…and it may cost around $100 million, according to Axios.

It would be placed in the Memorial Circle roundabout, opposite the Potomac River from the Lincoln Memorial, and would face the White House, per Time.

“It’s what he’s talking about. There’s a small arch. A middle arch. A large arch. And he likes the large one, of course, as long as it’s big and gold and white,” an insider told the outlet.

CNN says it was Trump’s idea.

“He came up with the design and has been part of the process every step of the way,” a source revealed.

According to Axios, Trump has raised roughly $1.9 billion to fund his many construction plans, including the 90,000 square foot ballroom on the East Wing of the White House.
