Someone out there is continuing to demand money in exchange for information on Nancy Guthrie‘s kidnapper, but they’re only going through TMZ.

The news outlet has reported that they’ve received a “a third email from the man who claims he knows the identity of Nancy Guthrie‘s kidnapper.” The 84-year-old mother of Today host Savannah Guthrie has been missing for nearly two weeks.

After the FBI announced that they’re now offering a $100,000 reward in exchange for information, the person wants that much money in Bitcoin.

TMZ reports that the person wants $50,000 worth of Bitcoin as an advance and then they’ll give the information. Once the kidnapper is arrested, they want the other $50,000 in Bitcoin.

The new email suggests that there are accomplices because the person promised to provide “the name of the main individual.”

TMZ notes that the person gave an update on “the current state of Nancy Guthrie,” but they’re not going to publish that info.

Yesterday, the FBI released the first description of the suspect, including height and body build.
