NBC is slowly revealing cast updates for the upcoming 51st season of Saturday Night Live and some new featured players were just announced.
One longtime member of the writing staff, who has appeared in sketches over the years, is now part of the cast for the first time alongside four newcomers.
We also know that one regular cast member is confirmed to return, plus four actors have already revealed they’re leaving the show.
Saturday Night Live‘s 51st season will premiere on October 4. A host and musical guest have not yet been announced. More cast shakeups will likely be on the way before the full cast announcement.
