Priyanka Chopra is currently in India for work and she took part in a Durga Puja celebration!
The 43-year-old actress attended the Mukerji family’s celebration on Tuesday (September 30) in Mumbai, India.
Priyanka shared a photo from the celebration on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “On this Ashtami, feeling grateful for Maa Durga’s blessings!” She also thanked her hosts for having her at the event.
Britannica notes that “Durga Puja is a special puja (offering) festival that celebrates the victory of the goddess Durga over the demon king Mahishasura.”
Priyanka‘s husband Nick Jonas recently went viral when he opened up about why he refuses to watch TV in bed with her. Even though she’ll sometimes watch TV in bed, he refuses to and has come up with a solution for what to do.
