Nicole Kidman has no plans on uprooting her family’s life following her divorce from Keith Urban.
It was announced in September 2025 that the 58-year-old Big Little Lies actress and the 58-year-old country music singer had separated after 19 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in January.
In a new interview, Nicole – who shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with Keith – explained why she will continue living in Nashville following the divorce.

Nicole also noted that she has a strong support system in Nashville, revealing that good friend and frequent collaborator Reese Witherspoon lives close to her and the two Oscar-winning ladies went for a long walk together the morning before her new interview.
If you didn’t know, Nicole and Keith first started dating in 2005 and got married in June 2006. They have lived in Nashville where Keith records music.
Also in the interview, Nicole shared her first public comments about her split from Keith.
