The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has sent their Monday (February 16) update on the Nancy Guthrie investigation.
There’s two notable pieces of news as the 84-year-old mom of Savannah Guthrie remains missing after over 2 weeks.
First, the PCSD sent Just Jared the statement released by the FBI this weekend, where they revealed info about gloves and possible DNA.
They also sent two additional updates about the clothing worn by the person of interest in the surveillance video images, plus, a clarification about reports that this was a burglary gone wrong.

Here’s what authorities confirmed today:
Suspect Clothing: PCSD can confirm that the clothing seen in the video may have been purchased from Walmart but is not exclusively available at Walmart. This remains a possibility only. The investigation is ongoing, and information may change as new details develop.
Clarification: PCSD has never stated that this was a burglary gone wrong. Any reports indicating otherwise are inaccurate. This remains a very active investigation.
And, there’s another update today about a new ransom note.
