Raúl Rocha is facing another scandal.
The Mexican businessman, president and co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization has reportedly been charged with some serious crimes.
Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office (FRG) charged the Miss Universe official, alleging he was involved in the trafficking of drugs, weapons and fuel between Guatemala and Mexico.

Mexican newspaper Reforma reported this just after the Miss Universe organization crowned its 2025 winner, Fatima Bosch from Mexico, amid much scandal and controversy.
“PRESIDENT Legacy, MISSUNIVERSE, EUROMEX, CYM,FMM,SGS, Philanthropist, CONSUL Guatemala in Mexico, V.P.CANACO,CANAGRAF & COMCE,” his Instagram bio reads.
Raúl also serves as a consul of Guatemala in Mexico, and allegedly led a criminal organization smuggling fuel in boats through the Usumacinta River, as well as in trucks to Querétaro, Mexico, via People.
An arrest warrant was requested in early August because of his alleged involvement in drugs and firearms trafficking, via the report.
The FRG raided several homes, including one where they allegedly found records of his contributions to the criminal enterprise.
They also claim the members of the enterprise have “connections with politicians and authorities at all three levels of government to deliberately carry out their mission, which includes the sale of hydrocarbons, narcotics, and the trafficking and sale of large quantities of weapons of war.”
He reportedly also attempted to negotiate a plea bargain for information to avoid being prosecuted back in October, per the report.
