More details are emerging about Lil Nas X‘s late night incident and now we’ve learned that he was arrested on a battery charge.
The 26-year-old “Industry Baby” rapper was taken into custody after he was found walking down Ventura Blvd in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, wearing just his underwear and cowboy boots.
The incident happened at around 4am on early Thursday morning (August 21) and police were called to the scene after residents in the area reported seeing a nude man in the street.
It was reported that Lil Nas X was transported to a hospital for treatment as authorities suspected a possible overdose. Now we know that he was also placed under arrest.

“Upon arrival the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer,” public information officer Charles Miller told CNN.
The rapper is now being held at a jail in Van Nuys, another neighborhood in the valley. TMZ reports that he’s being held without bail.
Back in April, Lil Nas X was hospitalized for a medical issue.
