The upcoming The Boys prequel series is about to start filming!
According to Variety, Jensen Ackles‘ Vought Rising will begin production this month and several new cast members have been announced.
The upcoming prequel series is set to take place in 1950s New York and is described as a “twisted murder mystery” about the origins of Vought, “the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V,” per executive producer Eric Kripke and showrunner/executive producer Paul Grellong.
With filming set to begin soon, eight stars have been announced for the upcoming prequel series, with a ninth actor potentially reprising their role.
