Jen Shah is opening up about life post-prison.
The 52-year-old former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was released from prison in December 2025 after serving 2 years, 9 months, and 23 days after being found guilty of running a telemarketing fraud scheme.
In a new interview, Jen revealed that there’s only one RHOSLC co-star that she’s still in contact with.
Keep reading to find out more…Jen told People that she has only remained in contact with Meredith Marks while she was away, calling her a “good friend.”
“Meredith has been somebody that has been consistent throughout this whole journey,” Jen said, noting that Meredith and her husband Seth Marks also stayed in contact with her husband Sharrieff “Coach” Shah.
“While I was gone, she and Seth would reach out to Coach and just check in and send their love,” Jen shared. “So yeah, we’ve talked. I called her while I was gone and I spoke with her when I got home.”
Jen also said that she privately reached out to Mary Cosby following the death of her 23-year-old son Robert Jr.
“I felt like that was the respectful thing to do, so I mailed her a card and just told her how deeply sorry that I was to hear about the passing of Robert Jr., and that she’s in my family’s prayers every day,” Jen shared.
“I wanted to write to her and let her know that even though I hadn’t talked to her obviously for a few years while I’ve been gone, that I care about her, especially with right now, what she’s going through,” she continued. “And I chose to reach out privately because I didn’t want it to be a distraction. … I wanted it to remain about what Mary was going through and about her son and honoring his memory.”
While she hasn’t stayed in contact with her other former co-stars, Jen believes that she’ll be able to re-connect with them one day in the future.
“Gosh, it’s so funny when you go through something like this that puts things in perspective: I don’t even remember where we ended or the fights or whatever,” Jen said. “Lisa Barlow is somebody that I’m sure I could pick up where I left off with her and talk to her.”
When asked if she’s hopeful the other ladies – Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Heather Gay – would be open to hearing from her, Jen said, “I would hope so. I would hope for that.”
In December, Andy Cohen addressed the possibility of Jen Shah returning to RHOSLC.
