Tonight will be a special night on Hallmark Channel because the premiere of Christmas on Duty also marks actor Parker Young‘s debut on the network!
The 37-year-old actor is starring in the new holiday film with Janel Parrish, who is a Hallmark veteran at this point.
Janel has nothing but praise for Parker and she thinks that fans are going to fall in love with him after watching this movie!

“I think Hallmark fans are going to be in love with Parker, and they will be calling for many more Parker Young movies. I am honored that he did his first with me,” Janel told Swooon.
Getting to be in this movie particularly was special for Parker, all because of his connection to service members in his life.
“I can’t say enough about what the military and the service members mean to me personally,” Parker told People. “Members of my family are in the military, my brother-in-law, and most of my best friends are in the SEAL teams. I just have so much respect for these guys, and every single time I get an opportunity to play a service member, I take it to heart. I just feel so grateful for that opportunity, and I don’t want to let them down. Yeah, it’s an added pressure, but also such an incredible privilege.”
Christmas on Duty debuts TONIGHT (November 1) at 8pm on Hallmark Channel and will be available for streaming on Hallmark+ beginning the next day.
Here’s the full synopsis: Blair (Parrish) and Josh (Young) have been bitter rivals ever since they trained together at The Basic School in Quantico, where they were both at the top of the class, competing to be number one. After graduation, Blair got Josh’s dream job, and they haven’t spoken since. Three years later, their paths cross unexpectedly at the base holiday party, where the two get into an argument and cause a scene. As punishment, Blair and Josh are both assigned to Christmas Duty, where they’ll work through the Yuletide together…for 24 hours straight. They plan to stay away from each other, but when a snowstorm prevents all the Christmas presents from being delivered to base, they are forced to team up for a special mission…to save Christmas.
