“I want to know how come Streisand was up there doing that for Redford?” Jane said to ET.
She then joked that Barbra “only made one movie with him, I made four! I have more to say.”
Jane then added, “[I] was always in love with him. The most gorgeous human being and such great values. And he did a lot for movies, he really changed movies, lifted up independent movies.”
Jane and Robert knew each other for decades. Their first collaboration came from 1960′s Tall Story. They then worked together again a few years later in 1966 on the film Barefoot in the Park. Their most recent collaboration came in 2017, when they starred in Our Souls at Night.
Barbra and Robert co-starred in the 1973 movie The Way We Were.
