Hi guys, I’m sorry to say I’ll be withdrawing from the US open. I tried my very best to be here and give myself the every chance to play but the discomfort in my arm has become to much and I have to do what is right and look after myself. Thank you for all the support.

If you didn’t know, he was diagnosed with a bruised humerus, the bone that runs from the shoulder to elbow, on his serving arm. He had not played singles for more than seven weeks and returned one week early from an eight-week recovery window.
The tennis star, ranked fifth in the world upon entering the tournament, had just defeated Federico Agustin Gomez on Monday (August 25), and previously said that his arm “is not a question mark.”
We are wishing the best to Jack in his recovery. Find out who got emotional after making history at the event days before.
