On Thursday (August 7), Brandon‘s family announced that he had sadly passed away following a three-year long battle with cancer. He was 48-years-old.

For over three decades, Narvel served as Reba‘s manager, but following their split, they also parted ways professionally.
Despite the divorce, Reba has remained close with Brandon and back in March, Shelby shared a photo on Instagram featuring both his mom and half-brother at a rodeo in Houston.
Kelly and Reba had been friendly before the American Idol winner married Brandon in 2013 and the two singers have stayed close following their mutual divorces.
