Patrick John Flueger is stepping out for the night after temporarily stepping away from his hit show.
The 41-year-old Chicago P.D. actor, who plays Adam Ruzek in the series, recently made an appearance alongside wife Reem Amara and co-star Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess) at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Marina shared a photo of the group all together on Sunday (November 23), with Patrick smiling at the camera as he wraps his arms around his wife and co-star.
“A beautiful night at the Lyric Opera with my beautiful friends,” she captioned the post, adding “GO SEE LIVE PERFORMANCES, IT IS WORTH IT.”
She also shared a selfie with Patrick in her Story.
The outing comes after Patrick made an announcement that he would be temporarily leaving the show, which he has starred on since 2014, due to a personal matter. He has plans to return later on in Season 13, however.
The unexpected leave caused the show’s writers to rewrite episodes to reflect his absence. Sources told Deadline in October that the actor has been going through a difficult period in his personal life, including a reported instance of alcohol use on set.
The One Chicago franchise wrapped with fall finales earlier this month, and fans might be upset to learn that it might be weeks before the shows return with new episodes to NBC. Find out when it might be coming back.
