The race for New York City’s next Mayor has made national news as early voting is underway.
Democratic state assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, Republican Curtis Sliwa, and independent candidate Andrew Cuomo are the three biggest candidates, and while early voting is happening right now, the election won’t officially happen until Tuesday (November 4).
The winner of the election will take over for Eric Adams, who dropped out of the race.
