Bindi Irwin is explaining her absence.
The 27-year-old conservationist revealed why she wasn’t in the audience during brother Robert Irwin’s Halloween performance on Dancing with the Stars this past week.

In a post on social media, Bindi said that she and her husband Chandler Powell and their daughter got sick.
“Chandler, Grace and I all got a bug and I’ve completely lost my voice now,” she explained.
“We will be cheering (quietly) from our living room for Robert and Witney on @dancingwiththestars. They have an incredible dance for Halloween week, beyond proud of their hard work and dedication.”
She also instructed fans to vote for her brother on the show, writing: “Text ROBERT to 21523 or abc.com. Voting BEGINS: 8pm ET / 7p CT / 5p PT – Don’t forget voting starts early at 5pm for everyone on the west coast! ✨”
