Arcade Fire band members Win Butler and Regine Chassagne have announced that they are separating after more than 20 years of marriage.
The longtime couple got married in 2003, one year before their band dropped its first album. They are parents to one child, who was born in 2013.
Despite their breakup as a couple, Win and Regine are committed to continuing their creative partnership and Arcade Fire will not be affected.

“After a long and loving marriage, Win & Regine have decided to separate,” the band wrote on Instagram. “They continue to love, admire and support each other as they co-parent their son. Their work in Haiti with KANPE continues and their bond as creative soulmates will endure, as will Arcade Fire. The band send their love and look forward to seeing you all on tour soon.”
Win was accused of sexual misconduct by four people back in 2022 and he responded with a lengthy statement at the time. Regine also showed support for him amid it all.
