Ansel Elgort has confirmed he’s a dad!
The 31-year-old actor posted a video of him singing his song “Canopy” to his new baby.
A short time later, he also posted his child’s first photo, along with a sweet caption.

He wrote, “Fatherhood is exhilarating, exhausting, it’s everything and more. The present feels more present and the future brighter. He wakes us up all night and yet I’ve never felt stronger during the day. He goes from crying to laughing, expressing everything he feels and it’s freed me to do the same. I wanted to keep it sacred, just for us, but now I want to share this story with you as it’s the brightest happiest thing I’ve ever experienced. I hope it brings you happiness too,” he captioned the photo of him and his son.
He posted this song as well.
He also shared a sweet exchange with his The Fault in Our Stars co-star Shailene Woodley, who posted the heart eyes emoji in his comments. Ansel responded, “he was smiling so big once I started saying Goodmorning 🥹 🫠.”
