The fired bullet casing contained the inscription, “Notices bulges OwO what’s this?” – a phrase used to troll and poke fun at the size of someone’s manhood.
The unaired bullet casings found by the high-powered bolt action rifle discarded in the woods near Utah Valley University also featured inscriptions.
One casting read, “Hey fascist! Catch!” while another casting read, “If you read this, you are gay. LMAO.”
Another casting had “oh bella ciao, bella cio, bella ciao, ciao, ciao” written on it.
“Bella Ciao” — which translates to “Goodbye Beautiful” — is an Italian folk song that was used as an anthem for anti-fascist resistance and sung as a hymn of freedom.
During World War II, the song was dedicated to the partisans of the Italian resistance, who fought against the occupying troops of Nazi Germany and other fascist forces.
Governor Cox said that investigators spoke with Robinson‘s roommate, who showed them messages between himself and an account with the name “Tyler” on the app Discord.
In the messages, “Tyler” allegedly stated that the need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point, leaving it in a bush, watching an area where the rifle was left, and having the weapon wrapped in a towel.
“Tyler” also wrote that he engraved bullets and said that the rifle was “unique.”
