Alden Ehrenreich and Patrick Ball are heading Broadway!
On Tuesday (December 16), it was announced that the 36-year-old Weapons actor and the 36-year-old The Pitt actor will be making their debuts in Gina Gionfriddo’s play Becky Shaw at Second Stage’s Hayes Theater in New York City.
Keep reading to find out more…Alden and Patrick will be starring in the Trip Cullman-directed play alongside Linda Emond, who has received Tony nominations for her roles in Death of a Salesman and Cabaret.
Becky Shaw “follows a blind date between Max and Becky that spirals out of control and disrupts the lives of Max’s friends Suzanna and Andrew,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Patrick will be playing Andrew, Alden will be playing Max, and Linda, 66, will be playing Susan, Suzanna’s mother.
Casting for the roles of Suzanna and Becky will be announced in the coming weeks.
Performances for Becky Shaw begin on March 18, 2026, while production is set to officially open on April 6. Tickets are available at 2st.com.
