Michael Bay has exited as the director of his Will Smith reunion movie for Netflix, Fast and Loose.
Michael directed the 1995 movie Bad Boys, which also starred Will.
The Wrap is reporting that the exit had to due with creative differences with Will, and they were unable to overcome the issues.

Fast and Loose “follows a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories. As he pieces together his past, he learns he’s been living two lives: one as a crime kingpin and the other as an undercover CIA agent.”
Deadline noted at the time that the project was “the type of major event film Netflix is still trying to prioritize, and the idea of reuniting Smith and Bay was just too hard to pass up for all parties.”
The site reports that filming was supposed to kick off in the fall but has now been pushed to 2026.
