Sofia Carson is back on Disney!
The 32-year-old Descendants star plays herself in a small cameo role on one Disney Channel and Disney+’s newest series Electric Bloom.
In the season one finale, titled “How We (Sorta) Got Our First Big Break: Part Two,” the girls meet a famous music producer, and Sofia serves as a “source of inspiration and aspiration for the girls of Electric Bloom.”

The short moment sees the girls of Electric Bloom arriving at the recording studio for their first session when they spot Sofia and have a fangirl moment.
Then, Sofia imparts some advice on the burgeoning young rockstars.
Sofia opened up about her cameo with People, which reunited her with acclaimed songwriter Diane Warren, who is an executive producer on the series, and wrote some of the music!
“Creating with Diane Warren will always be my prized honor,” the actress and singer shared. “It fills my heart with happiness to have been chosen by her to be a part of the electric journey of three young women who are fearlessly chasing their dreams in Electric Bloom. To remind them that remaining true to their hearts is their greatest superpower… the very example that Diane has so beautifully and historically set for the women of the world.”
All episodes of Electric Bloom are available to stream on Disney+ TODAY (October 1), with new episodes airing weekly on Sundays on Disney Channel.
